Vitrine de l’innovation SXD

Depuis septembre, six équipes d’étudiants du SXD Lab ont travaillé fort pour ré-imaginer l’expérience des étudiants au niveau postsecondaire. Ils ont conçu des solutions créatives qui abordent un large éventail de sujets, tels que, éliminer les obstacles à l’apprentissage, la co-création de contenu éducatif en réalité virtuelle, et bien plus encore.

Job Opportunity with the eCampusOntario SXD Lab

This year, the SXD Lab is leading four new design projects in the form of project challenges. We’re recruiting energetic and industrious students to design innovative solutions to problems affecting the student experience within the post-secondary system in Ontario.

Deadline to submit: August 1

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Compensation: $6000 (distributed throughout the length of term) 
Length of term: September 2018 – February 2019 (project could extend beyond February 2019)
Location: Primarily virtual with recurrent in-person activities
Work details: Part-time, project based

PROJECTS:

The following project challenges have been identified by students, educators and industry as priorities:

My Meaningful Life: How might we use a personal foresight tool to help students create their own definitions of a meaningful life (to support better decision making for potential futures)?
Mental Health: How might we improve support for students seeking mental health treatment?
Northern and Remote Students: How might we better prepare northern and remote students to be online learners?
Student Mobility (Credit Transfer): How might we better align students’ academic transfer needs with the existing transfer process?
